Secular Hypocrisy
The secular world often calls Christians hypocrites. Jesus proposes the highest of all standards, so no one has hit those standards perfectly but Jesus. However, true Christians are in process. The world sets the bar for hypocrisy. Let's consider secular hypocrisy.

Are Christians not allowed to speak Biblical and spiritual truth today, or are those who stand up for Christian principles and values to be silenced? That is what is happening with the Sean Feucht concerts in Canada. Sean is a Christian singer and speaker and is scheduled for a concert in West Kelowna on August 23 at 3:00 p.m. The extreme left is trying to cancel the concert as they have done in other Provinces in Canada and silence anyone who disagrees with them. The difference is that the right expresses their views and allows the extreme left to have their views, even if they disagree with them. The extreme left cancelling Christians from speaking Biblical truth is secular hypocrisy. Are they the only ones allowed to speak, and must we agree with them?
Christian principles and percepts do not support abortion, homosexuality, and gender ideology, yet we are called on to celebrate these principles in parades and have those in drag come to kindergarten classes. Yes, all people should be respected and valued, but we will not celebrate what we know is wrong. The practices of these acts are wrong, according to God and the Bible.
Our culture is fully intolerant of the truth, although it accepts everything else. The truth is unacceptable. The truth sets standards, and our culture insists on no standards or few. The left is very intolerant of Christian principles. As in the case of the Sean Feucht concerts, they are not even allowed to be expressed.
Our culture accepts everything and insists that everyone agree with a secular liberal, communist view, without judging whether it is right or wrong. There is no right or wrong to these people, and they insist that being tolerant of them is accepting is agreeing with them, and that their acts are not wrong. If we continue and there is no right and wrong, our culture will continue to disintegrate.
The Apostle Paul was a jailbird, and he knew the inside of more jails than most. However, his crime was preaching the gospel. Is that the direction that Canada and the USA are heading? When we silence what is held by many as truth, this is what we are doing and where we are heading.
At least let what they call the right have their views and stop censoring the right by the extreme left. The truth is not hate speech. It is just the truth. It is like communism when only one view is allowed.
What is truth? Truth is closely tied to ethics and the supernatural. Truth is an encounter with reality. Living in untruth or amorality is to live in an illusion. We believe it is wrong to murder someone or abuse them. How did we establish the basis for this? Is it because it hurts someone? Sin hurts us and offends God. Would we celebrate what offends God and why would we move our culture towards destruction? No Christian is perfect , but the Bible calls the true Christians saints, although they are recovering sinners as well. Christians no longer glory in sin. “They (those unrighteous) know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things, deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them” (Romans 1:27).
In Canada, you cannot even have a Christian radio station. It must be a station that includes all other religions. That is one underhanded way to cancel Christianity on the wavelengths. Logistically, it would be ridiculous to have every other religion on one station. Let the different religions have their station. Sounds a little like anti-Christianity and communism to me. Whatever happened to free speech?
I don’t know much about Sean Feucht, and Wikipedia describes some beliefs and practices that are a bit on or over the edge theologically, but he also has some good things to say, and he stands for Jesus, the truth, the gospel, and morality. Without morality, a culture and nation will grumble.
The media influenced by secular humanism and others say that Sean is identified with Magna. Does Magna have some Christian principles? This statement that he is promoting magna in Canada is in itself foolish. It should be “Make Canada great again.” Hopefully, Canada will become Godly again. This distraction only obscures the censorship of Christian principles, percepts, and values. Satan loves to distract as well. This is just a cloud to obscure, couched in hypocrisy to distract from the real issues. This is why they want to use distraction.
Christianity is very exclusive; we believe there is only one way to God and that is Jesus, but Christianity is tolerant of other religions and believes in the right of every person to believe what they want as long as they aren’t murdering and abusing, etc. People have free will and should not be forced to believe, but accept truth based on reason, revelation of God’s word, the Bible, God’s love, and the drawing of the Holy Spirit. As Tim Keller states, “Everyone makes exclusive truth claims. You may say "no religion should say their view of reality is superior to everyone else's," but when you say that, you are claiming that your view of reality is superior, thereby doing the very thing you claim religions shouldn't do.”
It is time for Christians to wake up and defend the truth in love. Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house” (Matthew 5:13-16). Truth is reality, and that reality is goodness and beauty; why would we hinder it, to our own and our society’s detriment? We do not glory in sin but in Jesus Christ and the Father and the Holy Spirit.
